- How the SuperGlide Works
- Unlike a conventional manual sliding fifth wheel hitch, the SuperGlide automatically responds as the truck and trailer turn. During a turn, the hitch head travels rearward along its sliding mechanism, providing additional clearance between the front of the fifth wheel trailer and the truck cab.
- As the truck and trailer straighten, the hitch automatically returns toward its normal towing position. This eliminates the need to stop, exit the truck, and manually release and reposition a conventional slider during normal operation.
