Fresh Water Hose; Taste Free; Not Heated; 1/2 Inch Internal Diameter; 25 Foot Length; Inert Plastic Material; No Vinyl or Chemical Taste; Suitable For Drinking Water; BPA/ Phthalate And Lead Free; White
Even though white reinforced PVC hoses sold in the RV Industry are made to drinking water standards, a plasticizer is added to make them flexible. It is the plasticizer that adds the familiar and unpleasant plastic taste to RV drinking water. And the higher the outside temperature the stronger the offensive taste. Valterra’s Taste Free hose is made from a completely inert thermoplastic material that adds NO TASTE to the water. It’s the same type of material that has been used for years to make plastic ice cube trays. Use it and enjoy water without any added unpleasant taste!
