- KVH Service & Activation – Important
- This system is configured for use with KVH’s Starlink service. Although it uses the Starlink satellite network, activation, service management, billing, and support are provided through KVH.
- Out of the box:
- The system must be activated on an eligible KVH Starlink service plan
- It will not work when activated through a standard direct Starlink account in its supplied configuration
- KVH provides the associated service, billing, and support
- Activation and configuration must be completed according to KVH’s instructions
- Customers who prefer to use a direct Starlink service plan must have the system unlocked for an additional fee. Once properly unlocked, the hardware can be used with a direct Starlink plan rather than KVH-managed service.
- Customers should determine which service arrangement they intend to use before ordering.
