- KVH Service & Activation – Important
- This system is supplied for use with KVH’s Starlink service. Although the hardware operates on the Starlink satellite network, service activation, billing, and management are handled through KVH.
- Out of the box:
- The system must be activated on an eligible KVH Starlink service plan
- It cannot be activated directly on a standard Starlink account in its supplied configuration
- KVH provides the associated service, billing, and support
- Activation and configuration must be completed according to the supplied KVH instructions
- If you prefer to use the hardware with a direct Starlink service plan, the system must first be unlocked, which requires an additional fee. Once properly unlocked, the hardware can be used outside the KVH-managed service arrangement.
- Customers should determine their preferred service arrangement before ordering.
